The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden seeks a Manager, Wedding Sales to drive wedding rental revenue, manage the sales process from inquiry to contract, and lead the Wedding Sales Coordinator within the Advancement division. You will develop client relationships, collaborate across departments, monitor pipeline and budgets, and promote wedding offerings while guiding planning events and promos.

Flexible hours including evenings/weekends, with a focus on delivering exceptional sales

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, business, marketing, event management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Three or more years of successful sales experience, preferably in wedding sales, venue rentals, hospitality, or special events.
Proven ability to achieve revenue goals, manage sales pipelines, negotiate agreements, and close business.
Experience with onsite event coordination and supervision or training of support staff preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Tripleseat or comparable event management software preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and conduct walking tours in indoor and outdoor environments.
Valid driver’s license required if operating Arboretum vehicles.

Mansioni

Generate wedding rental revenue and achieve booking goals from inquiry to contract execution.
Develop client relationships and maximize venue utilization with effective sales strategies.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and follow up with leads, planners, vendors, and industry partners.
Collaborate with Marketing on wedding collateral, website information, and promotional content.
Lead planning and execution of wedding showcases, open houses, and related events.
Oversee coordination of bookings to operations, ensuring accurate communication of requirements and layouts.
