Job summary

Ondo Finance is seeking a Front-End / Web Engineer to build web applications and APIs that enable access to tokenized investment products across multiple blockchains. You will join a small, fast-growing team and work across the stack to deliver features with high-quality code.

You will collaborate with product and design, implement wallet connections, and work on on-chain/off-chain data integration while maintaining best practices and a strong sense of ownership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering in Node.js/React/JavaScript (TypeScript).
• 1+ years of experience or demonstrated interest in developing decentralized applications.
• Based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones.
• Bachelor's degree or significant coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing needs.
• Solid knowledge of web application, API, and web3 development.
• Commitment to best practices across the technology stack and continuous learning.
• Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for interacting with on and off-chain data.
• Integrate web3 libraries and wallets, and manage smart contract interactions.
• Optimize front-end performance for fast load times and smooth UX with blockchain data.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into specs.
• Define and build API endpoints and services for front-end functionality.
• Implement external system integrations to support applications and operations.
• Evaluate third-party libraries and frameworks to streamline development.
• Stay up-to-date with Web3 advances and suggest architecture improvements.
• Participate in code reviews to foster ownership and technical excellence.
