Job summary

HireHi is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable distributed systems powering our platform and product capabilities. You will own backend services end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to monitoring and long-term reliability.

You will shape product decisions with peers, scope solutions with API clients, and build platform components including Web3 integrations and smart-contract interactions. Fully remote, asynchronous collaboration is supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and building distributed backend systems.
• Hands-on AI in engineering with concrete examples of impact and limitations.
• Strong ownership and proactive communication in a distributed team.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and scalable backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable distributed backend systems powering platform capabilities.
• Own backend services end-to-end from architecture to monitoring and reliability.
