Job summary

Facet Wealth is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join our Engineering & Product teams, building world-class software for our lead planners and clients. You will work with modern front-end and back-end tools, tackle large, complex problems, and grow through mentorship and ownership.

A successful candidate will have strong React experience, familiarity with AWS, Linux, Docker, and modern frontend tooling, plus a passion for testing and scalable UI design.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of full stack web development or related experience.
• 3+ years of experience in React 16+.
• Relational databases experience, MySQL is preferred.
• Familiarity with Linux and Docker.
• Experience with Git and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of AWS, REST, and modern frontend tooling.
• Experience with automated testing and PWAs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Planners to define solutions.
• Design, develop, and test code written in Golang and React and deployed to AWS.
• Estimate tickets in a ScrumBan process.
• Commit code constantly to Git/Bitbucket in a mainline development environment.
• Write all the tests and pair program with other developers as desired.
• Participate in daily standups and Tech Stack Tuesdays.
