Job summary

IDR, Inc. in Brentwood, TN is seeking a WebPerformance Engineer to optimize frontend website performance, improving Core Web Vitals and user experiences to drive ecommerce revenue. The role collaborates with React/Next.js teams and cross-functional partners to embed performance best practices across the lifecycle.

You will audit using Lighthouse, DevTools, WebPageTest, and CrUX, and optimize rendering, bundles, caching, and asset delivery to boost speed and conversions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years frontend engineering experience with 3+ years in web performance optimization.
• Experience with Lighthouse, Chrome DevTools, WebPageTest, PageSpeed Insights, CrUX, RUM, mPulse or Dynatrace.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve website performance using Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS).
• Perform audits using Lighthouse, Chrome DevTools, WebPageTest, PageSpeed Insights, CrUX and RUM tools.
• Partner with React.js and Next.js teams to optimize rendering, bundle size, caching, and asset delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed performance best practices into the development lifecycle.
