Job summary

Typeface, a design-forward web platform, seeks a Senior Web Engineer to own the marketing site end-to-end. You’ll lead infrastructure, interface, and deployment, turning design into production-ready experiences with a focus on speed and reliability.

You will collaborate with Product and Growth to iterate quickly, optimize for SEO and accessibility, and advance toward Next.js Server Components while aligning with the design system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 7+ years of experience building scalable, reliable full‑stack web apps.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript and Next.js.
• Experience with Contentful or similar headless CMS.
• Ability to translate requirements into detailed execution plans and ship quickly.
• Experience in high-growth startups or tech companies.

Responsibilities

• Own the marketing website architecture, CI/CD pipeline, and performance optimization for speed and reliability.
• Turn Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive experiences in collaboration with design.
• Develop and maintain components in Contentful with reusable sections aligned to design system.
• Own the web CI/CD pipeline using Docker, Azure Pipelines, and Cloud Run.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape Typeface Web Agent roadmap.
• Drive site performance, SEO best practices, accessibility, and conversions.
• Refactor codebase toward Next.js Server Components and unified styling.
