Job summary

Buildertrend Solutions, Inc. in Omaha is seeking a Senior Web Developer to own core web initiatives from strategy through deployment and measurement.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Design, Analytics, Revenue Operations and Product Engineering to improve performance, reliability, accessibility and security of our public-facing sites and customer journeys. You’ll develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, build components with PHP/JS/HTML/CSS, and evaluate CMS architectures including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional web or software development experience.
• Experience supporting B2B SaaS websites is preferred.
• Deep experience building WordPress apps with PHP/JS/HTML/CSS.
• Experience with React and modern JavaScript development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain functionality for public-facing sites.
• Own complex web initiatives from discovery through deployment and measurement.
• Develop and maintain WordPress themes, plugins, Gutenberg blocks and components.
• Evaluate CMS platforms and decoupled/headless architectures to fit needs.
• Keep high-traffic sites fast, secure and accessible; protect from bots.
