Job summary

SAIC seeks a Web Software Developer to support USTRANSCOM at Scott AFB in Illinois. You will lead the public website project, design and enhance pages, and integrate legacy content with strict DoD security standards.

Responsibilities include maintenance, upgrades, and collaboration with government personnel. Monday–Friday hours apply with after-hours support during events. Target salary range is shown in the posting.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in government IT/DoD context.
DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility.
CompTIA Security+ Certification.
Experience with Node.js and React.
Experience with AppStream and Confluence.
Experience in JavaScript and HTML.
Experience with Content Management Systems (Strapi).
Experience with AWS Cloud.
Knowledge of deploying software in a cloud environment compliant with DoD security guidelines.
Experience documenting technical content for personnel.

Responsibilities

Design, document, develop, and maintain public web pages to support USTRANSCOM.
Collaborate with contractors and Government personnel to integrate legacy pages into the new public website.
Provide maintenance, sustainment, and upgrades to current USTRANSCOM web pages.
Adhere to Government and industry web and security standards.
Coordinate minor adjustments with the content owner as needed.
Assist the webmaster in managing the Gatekeeper program with administrative oversight.
