Job summary

Subway is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support business and product capabilities.

You will contribute to reliable, scalable systems and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional partners. You will work within established standards and architecture, delivering high-quality code and continuously improving the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in Agile or team-based development environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications, services, or APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve quality.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and production issues.
• Contribute to unit, integration, and automated testing for reliability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments with DevOps or platform teams.
