Sigma Defense Systems in San Diego, CA seeks a Web Developer to design, build, and sustain web applications in DoD and highly regulated settings.

You will implement React/TypeScript interfaces, RESTful APIs with Python/Flask, manage PostgreSQL schemas, and enforce RBAC with Keycloak. The role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams and adherence to secure deployment practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DoD or enterprise environments with ASD STIGs and security requirements.
• Experience with data analytics, dashboards, and web interfaces.
• Familiarity with Docker/containerized apps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Nginx or similar servers; secure API development and RBAC concepts.
• Active Secret security clearance preferred but not required; US citizen.
• Document system architecture, APIs, deployment and admin processes.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Python/Flask, and React Admin/Recharts.

Responsabilités

• Develop apps in DoD or highly regulated environments.
• Maintain JSON Schemas to define data structures and validation.
• Build web apps with React/TypeScript and admin/data interfaces.
• Create RESTful APIs using Python/Flask for integration.
• Configure PostgreSQL schemas, queries, migrations and backups.
• Implement authentication and RBAC, e.g., Keycloak.
• Configure Windows Server environments and services.
• Collaborate with teams to capture requirements and deliver features.
• Troubleshoot defects, performance, and integration issues.
