Job summary

Sigma Defense seeks a Web Developer in San Diego, CA to design, build, and maintain web applications in DoD-regulated environments using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. You will develop RESTful APIs with Python (Flask), manage PostgreSQL databases, and implement authentication with Keycloak, ensuring RBAC and secure access for users and admins.

Qualifications include 6+ years in enterprise web development, DoD/ASD/STIGs exposure preferred, a CS degree, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of web development experience, with DoD/regulatory exposure preferred.
• Proficient in React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Python (Flask) backend.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, authentication (RBAC, Keycloak).

Responsibilities

• Develop DoD/compliant web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs with Python/Flask.
• Manage PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations.
• Implement authentication and RBAC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
• Document architectures and deployment procedures.
