Job summary

Gen Digital is seeking a Principal Web Data Specialist to own reporting and insights powering organic search and AI-search strategy across Norton, LifeLock, Avast, MoneyLion, and more. Based in New York with a hybrid 3‑days/week schedule, you will lead data analytics for a global portfolio of cybersecurity brands.

You’ll build dashboards, manage data infrastructure, and collaborate with SEO and content strategists to translate data into actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in an analytics, SEO analytics, or data specialist role within a digital marketing or ecommerce environment.
• Hands-on builder of data infrastructure and reporting systems, not just a user of them.
• Strong BigQuery and SQL skills, comfortable writing complex queries and managing large datasets.
• Experience building dashboards in Looker Studio, Power BI and/or Periscope.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the team's data warehousing and reporting infrastructure with SQL, pipelines, and cloud functions/API connections for SEO/AEO performance tracking.
• Lead analytics platform migration projects from a stakeholder perspective and ensure data quality.
• Build and maintain performance dashboards in Looker Studio, Power BI, and Periscope for SEO/AEO leaders and content teams.
• Drive end-to-end SEO/AEO/content analytics projects from architecture to reporting and insights.
• Mentor cross-functional team members on analytics best practices and translate data decisions for non-technical stakeholders.
