Qualifications

• Five to seven years of experience in web content management, with three of the years in the last five.
• Previous web experience is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional writing, editing, and proofreading services for clear, impactful content across channels.
• Create and refine publication documents, marketing materials, and Public Roads magazine content with QA and version control.
• Deliverables include marketing plans, newsletters, flyers, brochures, web content, scripts, FAQs, and surveys.
• Write and edit materials for documents, marketing materials, and Public Roads magazines.
• Provide editorial support for publications and magazine content through all production stages.
• Correct grammar, spelling, style, coherence, and formatting errors.
• Design and format materials to meet branding and accessibility standards.
• Use CMS to upload and post content on agency websites and intranets.
• Optimize text for SEO and ensure 508 accessibility compliance.
• Coordinate quarterly certification process for up-to-date information.
• Use graphic tools to crop and adjust web images when needed.
