Qualifications

• Five to seven years of experience in web content management, with at least three of the last five years.
• U.S. Citizenship required for the position.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
• Experience with SEO and accessibility (Section 508) compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional writing, editing, and proofreading services for diverse audiences and channels.
• Create and refine publication documents, marketing materials, and Public Roads magazine content.
• Upload, maintain, and post content on agency websites using CMS.
• Optimize text for SEO and ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility laws.
• Coordinate quarterly certification information and support publication workflows.
