Job summary

Fuze Health in the United States seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the FuzeRx team building prescription processing services from intake to pharmacy fulfillment. You will work on scalable backend and full‑stack components, collaborating with product and care teams to improve the patient pharmacy experience.

The role emphasizes long‑term maintainability, performance, and ML-driven features, including integration of predictive models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience in a high-volume, high-throughput production environment.
• Deep background in Backend or Full Stack technologies, including Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in architecting complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Strong engineering fundamentals with experience building high-volume, resilient systems.
• Quality & Best Practices: Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL; Python experience valued for ML initiatives.
• Experience building and integrating predictive ML models.

Responsibilities

• Preparing prescriptions for fulfillment and delivery as quickly and accurately as possible through a combination of automation and efficient manual task coordination when third party input is required to advance a fill.
• Enabling the growth of the business by enabling partners like drug manufacturers, insurers, and individual providers to easily configure billing, benefits, and clinical workflows tailored to their use cases.
