Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with Oracle databases, Oracle functions, stored procedures, triggers, packages, and performance tuning.
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications.
Proficiency in converting ASP.NET Web Forms to Model-View-Controller (MVC).
Familiarity with .NET Core application development.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and application development on Azure.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including creating and writing stored procedures.
Experience with batch processing and data loading.
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2017 and above.
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.
Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
Experience testing custom applications, reports, large datasets, or dashboards.
Experience producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, designs, and testing.
Experience working with development teams on large enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing project specifications and overall planning and management of projects.
Meet with leadership to provide weekly project status reports.
Provide monthly written reports that include accomplishments, areas of concern, and recommended solutions.
Communicate project progress and relevant information to project teams, sponsors, stakeholders, and legislative bodies as appropriate.
Ensure established technical direction and standards are followed.
Develop project plans and measure actual progress against established plans.
Ensure project documentation includes project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans, change control logs, and reports.
Demonstrate an understanding of tactical goals and actively participate in developing and implementing business solutions.
Manage project risks through comprehensive risk assessment, mitigation, and planning techniques.
Manage project change control processes.
Obtain sponsor approval for changes to project scope, budget, and schedule that impact the critical path.
Develop documentation demonstrating the testing and verification of modifications to ensure project objectives are met.
