Ironsite is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to design the electrical architecture of wearable hardware for rugged job sites. You will own PCB design, power systems, and multi-sensor integration to ensure reliability across extreme conditions and long shifts.

You will collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept through volume production, ensuring robust, scalable hardware solutions for the field.

Qualifications

• 6+ years shipping electrical designs in wearables or rugged hardware.
• Deep expertise in multi-layer PCB design and layout for mixed-signal/high-speed designs.
• Experience with battery management, charging, protection, and low-power techniques.
• Experience integrating optical imaging (MIPI CSI), wireless (BLE/Wi‑Fi/LTE), IMU, and environmental sensors.
• Experience with high-speed signal integrity analysis and production yields.
• Ability to read schematics/datasheets and use lab tools to debug hardware.
• Systems thinking across silicon, PCB, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Design multi-layer PCBs from concept through DFM and production release.
• Own end-to-end electrical architecture for wearable hardware programs.
• Optimize for size, power, thermal, and integration density.
• Drive component selection and work with supply chain on cost/performance tradeoffs.
• Design and validate power delivery, battery management, and low-power modes.
• Integrate optical, wireless, IMU, and environmental sensors into a cohesive platform.
• Lead hardware bring-up, validation, and test across environmental conditions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
