Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer (Level 5) to join the Air Dominance team in Berkeley or Hazelwood, MO. You will bridge architecture and execution, ensuring weapon system integrity through TPMs and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires 10+ years in defense/aerospace, strong systems engineering background, and the ability to communicate with SMEs and leadership. Active U.S. Secret Clearance and program access eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 10+ years of experience in the defense or aerospace industry.
• Experience in Systems Engineering processes and weapon system integration.
• Ability to communicate technical details clearly with SMEs and program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Technical Performance Management: Oversee TPMs and ensure metrics align with objectives.
• Trade Study Leadership: Conduct studies balancing capability, affordability, and maturity.
• Community Leadership: Participate in Architects' Community to drive decisions and strategies.
• Cross-Functional Influence: Lead multiple technical functions across IPTs without direct hierarchy.
• Communication: Translate complex technical details for SMEs and leadership.
• Integration Expertise: Integrate multiple complex systems within a large development program.
• Systems Engineering Proficiency: Deep understanding of SE processes and end-to-end lifecycle.
• Technical Breadth: Experience across multiple weapon system functions.
• Influence & Resilience: Be proactive, curious, and resilient in challenges.
• Self-Starter: Proactively influence efforts across IPTs for program success.
