Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Sr. Systems Integration Engineer to provide high-level technical support at Wright-Patterson AFB. This full-time role focuses on systems design, integration and airworthiness across weapon systems.

The engineer will apply OSS&E processes, perform risk assessments and guide program offices on installation, maintenance, and data management throughout the life cycle. Strong communication and compliance with DoD standards are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in systems engineering including at least 5 years supporting DoD programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of DoD, AF engineering principles and airworthiness certification.
• Experience with IETMS and JCALS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering, design and integration across weapon systems.
• Develop, deploy and maintain processes to assure full integration and lifecycle sustainment.
• Apply airworthiness processes and provide risk assessments and safety analyses.
• Review program data, analyze BIT reports and accuracy of BIT indications.
• Provide system integration guidance to program offices for installation and maintenance.
• Assess proposals for design feasibility and system capability.
• Conduct life-cycle cost, reliability, and performance studies.
• Communicate complex data clearly to management and technical staff.
