Job summary

Electric Mind is seeking a Senior Consultant for Strategy & Business Architecture within its Wealth Management Practice. You will help banks and dealers shape strategy through delivery, bridging senior executives on operating models with hands-on process and data work across wealth operations.

You will map processes from account opening to settlements, translate business needs into requirements, support vendor selections, data migrations, and ensure regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in wealth management in consulting, industry, or both.
• Hands-on wealth operations experience across fund dealer, brokerage, or bank-owned wealth businesses.
• Understanding of how the wealth industry fits together (manufacturers, dealers, custodians, advisors).
• Experience on strategy or transformation engagements (current-state, target-state, roadmaps, platform implementations).
• Familiarity with the Canadian wealth ecosystem (FundSERV, CDS).
• Strong business analysis, process mapping, and data skills; clear writing and presentation abilities.
• Post-secondary degree; CSC or IFC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy engagements: current-state assessments, target-state design, business cases, and roadmaps.
• Lead delivery on transformation programs: platform replacements, back-office conversions, operating-model changes.
• Map current-state and future-state processes across the wealth value chain (opening accounts, trades, settlements, transfers, client reporting).
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and data mappings for delivery teams.
• Support vendor and platform assessments and selections for recordkeeping and advisor technology.
• Plan data migrations and conversions, including reconciliation and cutover planning.
• Maintain regulatory alignment (CIRO rules, client-focused reforms, transfer standards).
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and communicate progress, risks, and recommendations.
