Job summary

Electric Mind is seeking a Consultant/Senior Consultant with deep knowledge of Canadian wealth management. You will advise banks and dealers on strategy, operating models and transformation delivery across wealth businesses, from upfront analysis to implementation.

You will bridge conversations between executives and operations teams, shaping roadmaps and vendor selections. The role requires 3+ years in wealth management, strong business analysis, and familiarity with FundSERV/CDS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in wealth management, in consulting, industry or both.
• Hands-on experience in wealth operations: mutual fund dealer or manufacturer operations, full-service brokerage, discount or self-directed brokerage, or bank-owned wealth businesses.
• Understanding of how the wealth ecosystem fits together: manufacturers, dealers, advisors, custodians and service providers; data flows between them.
• Experience on at least one strategy or transformation engagement: current-state assessment, target-state design, business case, roadmap, platform implementation or back-office conversion.
• Familiarity with the Canadian wealth ecosystem, including FundSERV and CDS, and back-office/recordkeeping providers.
• Strong business analysis skills: process mapping, requirements, data manipulation.
• Clear writing and presentation skills; comfort presenting to executives and operations teams.
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent; CSC or IFC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy engagements: current-state assessments, target-state and operating model definition, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.
• Deliver transformation programs: platform replacements, back-office conversions, operating model changes and digital advisory launches.
• Map current-state and future-state processes across wealth value chain: opening, KYC, trading, settlement, transfers, reporting, and tax slips.
• Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, process flows and data mappings for delivery teams.
• Support vendor and platform assessments across recordkeeping and advisor technology.
• Plan data migrations and conversions, including reconciliation, cutover planning and post-go-live stabilization.
