Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Senior Risk Advisory Consultant to partner with Wealth Advisors and Strategists in delivering advanced insurance and risk-management guidance for high-net-worth clients. You will identify gaps, design holistic strategies and coordinate implementation across regions.

You will lead complex risk assessments, advise on insurance solutions within estate and wealth-transfer planning, and mentor junior team members while ensuring thorough documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Assessing life, disability, long-term care and annuity needs and evaluating existing and proposed solutions.
• Applying insurance concepts within estate, tax, liquidity, business-owner and wealth-transfer planning.
• Leading discovery and recommendation discussions with clients and external advisors.
• Managing sophisticated cases from assessment through underwriting, implementation and delivery.
• Building productive partnerships across a multidisciplinary team and exercising sound judgment in ambiguous client situations.

Responsabilités

• Lead structured risk assessments for wealth strategies, identify protection and liquidity gaps, and document findings and next steps.
• Develop insurance strategies that complement estate planning, wealth transfer, business succession and broader goals.
• Explain complex insurance concepts, tradeoffs and implementation considerations to clients and advisors.
• Collaborate with Wealth Advisors, Wealth Strategists and fiduciary professionals from discovery through implementation.
• Lead complex cases, including data gathering, analysis, illustration review, underwriting coordination and policy delivery.
• Evaluate existing life, disability, long-term care and annuity arrangements for alignment with objectives.
• Develop proactive regional relationships and participate in planning discussions with advisors.
• Maintain complete documentation and follow policies to support proper review of recommendations.
• Contribute to assessment questions, planning standards and templates to scale the Risk Advisory model.
• Provide mentorship to the Risk Advisory Associate and escalate the most complex matters to the Director.
