Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Senior Risk Advisory Consultant to lead advanced insurance and risk-management guidance within holistic wealth planning. You will partner with Wealth Advisors and Strategists to identify client risks, evaluate coverage, and coordinate implementation for high-net-worth clients across regions.

The role requires eight+ years in insurance planning, strong consulting skills, and the ability to lead complex cases from discovery through policy delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Appropriate state insurance licenses for Life, Health and Long-Term Care, as required under Fifth Third licensing guidelines.
• Eight or more years of insurance planning, advanced case design, wealth planning or related financial-services experience.
• Demonstrated experience advising high-net-worth clients and collaborating with relationship managers, planners or external professional advisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured risk assessments for new and existing wealth strategies, identify protection gaps, document findings and next steps.
• Develop insurance strategies that complement estate planning and wealth transfer goals.
• Explain complex insurance concepts and considerations to clients and external advisors clearly.
• Work with Wealth Advisors, Wealth Strategists and fiduciary professionals from discovery to implementation.
• Lead complex cases with data gathering, policy analysis and underwriting coordination.
• Evaluate existing life, disability, long-term care and annuity arrangements for alignment with objectives.
