Job summary

JPMorganChase Wealth Management seeks an Executive Director, Wealth Planner to translate complex tax and trust & estate concepts into clear guidance for clients and advisors. You will partner with leadership to shape regional strategies and provide actionable planning insights across investment, banking, and lending products.

You will engage with field management, coach colleagues and Financial Advisors, and stay current on federal/state tax laws affecting planning.

Qualifications

4-year college degree and professional designation in wealth planning or tax
7+ years in trusts & estates, tax planning, or financial planning
Knowledge of securities-based compensation, pre-liquidity planning and concentrated stock management
Experience presenting complex planning concepts to clients and advisors
Ability to coach colleagues and partners with integrity and client-first focus

Responsibilities

Develop and present content on wealth planning topics with leadership teams.
Serve as a resource on tax and trust planning strategies for JPMWM field.
Collaborate with field leadership to integrate estate and tax concepts into goals-based advice.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state tax laws relevant to the practice.
Promote JPMorganChase knowledge to outside centers of influence such as accountants and attorneys.
Develop business opportunities with new and existing clients with advisors.
Provide unbiased, comprehensive wealth planning advice to clients and prospects.
Engage with clients across the wealth spectrum on tax and transfer strategies.
Contribute to team discussions to propose planning ideas and industry trends.
Travel to local and out-of-state branches as needed.
