Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Executive Director, Wealth Planner within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management to deliver expert tax and estate planning guidance to clients and advisors.

You will translate complex laws into clear client-focused advice and collaborate across USWM to identify opportunities and deliver strategic wealth planning solutions. The role requires extensive experience in trusts and estates, strong communication, and leadership, with travel to branches as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree and either J.D., LLM or CPA.
• Self-starter with natural curiosity for individual planning and people.
• 7+ years of practice as a trusts & estates or tax lawyer or CPA.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong team player with a predisposition to service function.
• Ability to drive business results with broad background in trust and estate planning issues.
• Able to coach colleagues, Financial Advisors and clients with strong partnership skills.
• Strong presentation skills in one on one and group meetings.
• Experience understanding clients' financial situations and personal circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Develop content across wealth management topics with leadership.
• Serve as a resource to USWM field in tax and trust planning and sophisticated strategies.
• Integrate estate and tax planning concepts into goals-based advice.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
• Promote knowledge and sophistication to outside professionals in the field.
• Develop business opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Provide unbiased comprehensive wealth planning advice to clients.
• Travel to local and out-of-state branches as needed.
