Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Wealth Management seeks an Executive Director, Wealth Planner to leverage deep tax and estate knowledge to explain complex concepts clearly to clients and advisors.

You will align with regional leadership to develop strategies and support advisor teams. You will stay current on federal and state tax laws, coach financial professionals, and identify opportunities to deepen client engagements across the wealth spectrum.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree and either J.D, LLB, CPA or CFP.
• 7+ years of practice in trusts & estates, tax advisory, or financial planning.
• Knowledge of securities-based compensation, pre-liquidity planning, and concentrated position management.
• Comfortable working with clients across the wealth spectrum; familiarity with planning and corporate issues.
• Ability to drive business results with a broad background in trust and estate planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present content across wealth management topics with divisional leadership.
• Serve as a resource on tax and trust & estate planning strategies and pre-liquidity planning.
• Partner with field leadership to integrate estate and tax planning into goals-based advice.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
• Promote knowledge to outside centers of influence, especially accountants and attorneys.
• Work with Advisors to develop business opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Provide unbiased comprehensive wealth planning advice to clients and prospects.
• Work with diverse clients on tax and wealth transfer strategies.
• Participate in team discussions to share planning ideas and trends.
• Travel to local and out-of-state branches as needed.
