Job summary

JPMorgan Chase Wealth Management is seeking an Executive Director, Wealth Planner to translate complex tax and trust & estate laws into clear guidance for clients and advisors. You will collaborate with regional field leadership to develop strategies and expand engagement across the wealth continuum.

You will travel to local and out-of-state branches, lead presentations, coach advisers, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state tax laws.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree plus professional credential (J.D./L.L.B./CPA/CFP).
• 7+ years in trusts & estates law, tax, or financial planning.
• Knowledge of securities-based compensation, pre-liquidity planning, and concentrated position management.
• Comfort working with a broad wealth spectrum and experience in tax/wealth transfer strategies.
• Ability to drive business results with a broad background in trust and estate planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present content across wealth management topics with leadership.
• Serve as a resource on tax and estate planning strategies and concentrated position management.
• Partner with field leadership to integrate estate and tax planning into goals-based advice.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state tax laws related to focus areas.
• Promote JPMorgan Chase knowledge to outside centers of influence, including accountants and attorneys.
• Work with Advisors to develop business opportunities with clients.
• Provide unbiased, comprehensive, customized wealth planning advice.
• Travel to local and out-of-state branches as needed.
