Job summary

Atlantic Union Bank is seeking a Senior Financial Consultant to provide investment solutions, manage client goals, and maintain relationships across individuals and businesses. The role partners with bank branches to deliver fiduciary advisory services and wealth management guidance.

The position requires FINRA registrations (Series 7 and 66 or 63/65 in lieu), Virginia life licenses, and possible CFP/AWMA designation preferences.

Qualifications

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
Strong knowledge of investment concepts, products and markets.
Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and grow assets.
Experience with financial analysis and advisory discussions.

Responsibilities

Counsel customers on investment topics including retirement, tax planning and risk management.
Act as fiduciary and adhere to Reg BI in advisory relationships.
Acquire and expand client relationships through networking and branch partnerships.
Purchase and sell securities to meet client objectives and needs.
Develop a personal business plan to grow revenue and assets under management.
Maintain high quality relationships and service current accounts.
Perform investment research and portfolio allocation analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams and use technology to improve practice management.
Represent the company in the community and promote new business opportunities.
