Job summary

Atlantic Union Bank is seeking a Senior Financial Consultant to provide investment solutions and build long-term client relationships in partnership with local branches. The role focuses on retirement, education, and wealth planning, while maintaining regulatory compliance and fiduciary duties.

Responsibilities include portfolio analysis, securities transactions, business development, and educating branch teams.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of investment concepts, terminology, procedures and related regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to sell and negotiate financial products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and online systems.
• Advanced math and analytical skills for portfolio analysis.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Counsel customers on investment topics including retirement, tax, education, income management, risk, suitability and objectives.
• Adheres to Reg BI and acts as fiduciary in advisory relationships.
• Acquire, expand and maintain client relationships via networking and branch partnerships.
• Purchase/sell securities meeting client needs or adapting to changes in objectives.
• Develop and maintain a personal business plan with revenue and AUM growth targets.
• Builds and maintains high-quality relationships with clients and prospects.
• Maintain and service current accounts, answer market questions, evaluate portfolios, and provide investment recommendations.
• Perform investment research on products, markets and the economy.
• Perform allocation analysis to evaluate customer portfolios.
• Adopt new technology and solutions in practice management.
• Monitor production activity and ensure sales goals are met.
• Represent the company in the community to promote and develop business.
• Educate and engage branch teams through coaching and referrals.
• Collaborate with branches and other lines of business for non-investment needs.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and applicable laws.
