Job summary

Atlantic Union Bank is seeking a Senior Financial Consultant in Wealth Management for the Montgomery County market. The role focuses on delivering investment solutions, guiding client goals, and maintaining relationships with individuals and businesses in coordination with bank branches.

The position requires extensive investment knowledge, securities experience and FINRA registrations, along with strong communication and sales skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of investment concepts, terminology and regulations.
• Ability to build and negotiate financial product solutions for clients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and online systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills for portfolio evaluation.
• Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation abilities.
• Capable of working with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Counsel customers on investment topics including retirement, tax, education, income, risk and suitability.
• Act as fiduciary and comply with Reg BI in advisory relationships.
• Acquire and maintain client relationships via networking and branch partnerships.
• Execute purchase/sale of securities for various client types to meet objectives.
• Develop annual business plan focusing on revenue and AUM growth with branches.
• Build and maintain high quality relationships with clients and prospects.
• Service accounts, answer market questions, evaluate portfolios and coordinate with operations.
• Perform investment research on products, market and economy.
• Conduct portfolio allocation analysis and integrate new technology into practice.
• Monitor activity and help teams achieve sales goals.
• Represent the company in the community to promote new business.
• Educate and engage branch staff through coaching and referrals feedback.
