Job summary

Atlantic Union Bank in Fairfax, VA seeks a Senior Financial Consultant—Wealth Management to provide investment solutions for individuals and businesses, manage client goals, and deepen relationships across branches.

You will educate clients on retirement, tax, and estate planning, adhere to Reg BI as fiduciary, and work with branch teams to grow assets under management while delivering compliant, high‑quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in investment services.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63/65) licenses and VA life/annuity licenses.
• AWMA or CFP designations preferred.
• Strong investment knowledge and regulatory understanding.
• Excellent communication and sales capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Counsel customers on investments including retirement, tax, education, income and risk.
• Adhere to Reg BI and act as fiduciary in advisory relationships.
• Acquire and deepen client relationships through development and referrals.
• Buy/sell securities to meet clients' needs and objectives.
• Develop a personal business plan to grow revenue and assets under management.
• Maintain high-quality client relationships and service accounts.
• Perform investment research and portfolio evaluation.
• Represent the company in the community and promote business.
• Educate branch teams and coordinate referrals with other lines of business.
