Midwest Employers Casualty (MEC) seeks a seasoned Claims Analyst to manage high-exposure Workers' Compensation claims, mitigate loss costs, and advance settlement strategies with data-driven insights.

The role leverages Advanced Analytics and AI tools, collaborates with Medical Management Consultants, Client Consult Managers and Claims Attorneys, and requires strong communication, organization and a proactive, team-focused mindset. Travel up to 25–35% is possible based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of primary claim handling experience.
• High level of influence management skills.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate frequently and effectively to internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate WC claims for exposure and establish reserves.
• Utilize predictive analytics and AI tools to assess trends and exposures.
• Collaborate with MEC Medical Management Consultants, Client Consult Managers and Claims Attorneys.
• Achieve settlement and vendor goals and objectives.
• Maintain well documented claim files with an active diary system.
• Plan and conduct on-site TPAs visits to promote loss mitigation and timely settlement.
