Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster for a fully remote role in the United States. The candidate will handle workers' compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions, primarily AZ and CO, with a focus on analysis, communication, and customer service throughout the claim lifecycle.

Requirements include at least 5 years of claims experience, a high school diploma, and active licensure in applicable states. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims exposure and plan the proper course of action to resolve claims.
• Interact extensively with parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants on behalf of clients, showing empathy through each step of the claims process.
• Handle claims in accordance with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies, complying with statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely and support the claim file outcome.
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims using analytical skills to reach resolution.
• Work with clients to deliver innovative solutions and improve the claims management process.
• Think critically, solve problems, plan, and prioritize tasks to best serve clients and claimants.
