Job summary

AvonRisk is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster III to lead complex, high-exposure claims with expert technical input and supervision. Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years WC claims experience including 5 years of independent indemnity management.
• CA SIP certificate required for CA files; valid active adjuster license in applicable state(s).
• Professional designations (AIC, ARM, WCCP, CPCU) are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations and adjudicate compensability for high-exposure cases.
• Direct medical management including coordination with life care planners and UR/IMEs.
• Lead PD rating on complex cases with reserves and apportionment considerations.
• Own full litigation management from selection of counsel to trial prep.
• Negotiate settlements and manage multi-lien resolutions with CMS coordination.
• Provide technical backup to supervisor and mentor junior adjusters.
• Maintain proactive client communication and professional stakeholder interactions.
