Job summary

AvonRisk seeks a senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster III to handle the organization’s most complex, high-exposure claims with strategic oversight. You’ll provide technical guidance, supervise junior staff, and serve as a key resource for clients and carriers in multi-party litigations.

Responsibilities include leading complex investigations, directing medical management for catastrophic claims, PD rating, reserving, and directing the full litigation process, including high-stakes

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years WC claims experience with independent indemnity management.
• KB in complex, high-exposure, litigated files and catastrophic injuries.
• CA SIP certification preferred for CA files; multi-state experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations, determine compensability, and plan resolutions.
• Direct medical management for catastrophic and high-cost claims, coordinating UR/IME.
• Manage PD rating, reserves, and settlement documentation with justification.
• Direct full litigation process including counsel selection and trial prep.
• Negotiate high-value settlements and manage multi-lien recovery.
• Mentor junior adjusters and serve as senior technical resource for clients.
