Job summary

AvonRisk in the United States is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster III to lead complex, high-exposure indemnity files and provide technical guidance to the team. This senior role supports clients, carriers, and colleagues while driving strategy in a hybrid setting near Glendale, CA or Orange, CA.

Responsibilities include complex claims investigation, medical management coordination, PD rating, litigation oversight, settlements, and proactive client communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of WC claims experience with independent indemnity management and complex files.
• Public entity liability claims knowledge and multi-jurisdiction experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex claims investigations and strategize resolution on high-exposure files.
• Direct medical management, RTW coordination, and life-care planning for catastrophic cases.
• Oversee PD rating, reserving accuracy, and litigation management for senior files.
• Negotiate settlements and manage subrogation and lien resolution with stakeholders.
