Job summary

Arcadis seeks an experienced Sediment Remediation Engineer to join our nationwide waterfront project teams. Lead investigations, feasibility studies, design, and construction phases for contaminated sediment sites, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with regulators.

You will serve as SME on sediment investigations or remediation, drive client-ready documents, and support business development efforts across the country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in sediment remediation.
• Professional Engineer license is preferred; Master’s degree is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead sediment remediation and waterfront projects from site investigation through remedial design and construction.
• Prepare field sampling plans, RI/FS reports, and remedial designs with cost estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and scientists; provide SME input to internal teams and external stakeholders.
