Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Sediment Remediation Engineer to support nationwide waterfront projects, including sediment characterization, remediation design, and construction. The role emphasizes site investigation, design, cost estimation, and coordination with regulators, clients, and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in sediment remediation, a Civil/Environmental Engineering background, and PE licensure or advanced degrees as pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the sediment field
• Professional Engineer license preferred
• Master’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of client‑ready documents and designs and provide senior‑level reviews for technical content and quality
• Manage multidisciplinary teams with project scopes, schedules, and budgets and coordinate with clients and regulators
• Provide mentoring and training to junior engineers and scientists
• Serve as SME on sediment investigation or remediation projects and support business development opportunities
