Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Sediment Remediation Engineer to support nationwide waterfront projects, including sediment characterization, remediation design, construction, and related waterfront engineering tasks. The role can be based anywhere in the United States.

You will lead site investigations, feasibility studies, design, and construction phases, while mentoring junior staff and acting as SME on sediment remediation. Strong leadership and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the sediment field.
• Professional Engineer license and/or Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sediment remediation projects from investigation through remediation design and construction.
• Manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams, including scopes, schedules, budgets, and client/regulatory communications.
• Prepare client-ready reports and designs; review technical content for quality.
• Support business development through client meetings and proposals.
