Job summary

Geosyntec is seeking a Waterfront Business Leader to build and expand our waterfront and coastal engineering practice in the New England region. The successful candidate will be based near Boston, Acton, or Hamilton and may consider a fully remote arrangement for the right individual.

The role involves leading projects such as shoreline stabilization, living shorelines, dredging, and stormwater systems, while driving business development and client growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, structural, or geotechnical engineering with coastal or water resources emphasis.
• Advanced degree is desirable but not essential.
• Professional registration (e.g. P.E., P.G., WEDG, CFM) is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead waterfront and coastal engineering services through client relationships and business development.
• Provide senior leadership on technical projects and identify resources needed.
• Lead multiple disciplinary teams focused on coastal modeling, resiliency, and waterfront infrastructure.
• Ensure client satisfaction and project profitability.
• Provide design calculations, construction drawings and specifications, and other technical work products.
• Plan and coordinate detailed phases of coastal engineering work in marine projects.
• Prepare for and participate in client, regulatory, and other meetings.
