Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Sediment Remediation and Waterfront Practice Lead to join our Sediment and Waterfront practice. The role may be based in multiple U.S. offices with potential hybrid or remote work options.

You will lead growth across the country, mentor staff, and deliver technically sound projects from assessment to construction. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in environmental consulting, strong CERCLA knowledge, and a proven business development track record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of environmental consulting experience; 15+ preferred.
• Detailed understanding of CERCLA and state regulations.
• Established client relationships with regulatory personnel.
• Ability to develop and execute business development strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client presentations.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow sediment remediation and waterfront practice.
• Oversee complex projects including site assessment, design and implementation.
• Provide senior technical oversight on contaminated sediment evaluations.
• Manage project budgeting, scheduling, quality control and profitability.
• Mentor staff and manage subcontractors across projects.
• Represent Geosyntec at industry conferences and client meetings.
