Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a skilled operator to participate in the daily running, maintenance and improvement of our water and wastewater treatment facilities in Lincoln, IL. The role requires hands-on operation of pumps, valves, and chemical feed systems, as well as routine lab testing and data logging.

The position emphasizes independent work, adherence to safety procedures, and collaboration with management, clients, and vendors to ensure compliant, efficient operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Minimum of 5 years Water and Wastewater Treatment experience preferred.
• Ability to operate electric motors and related equipment; use of hand tools.
• Thorough knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes; able to work independently.
• Ability to communicate professionally with team, management, clients, and vendors.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors and operates wastewater treatment plant equipment; adjusts chemical treatment as required.
• Conducts routine testing of water and records results.
• Maintains logs and plant records; compiles data in computer systems.
• Supports preventative maintenance programs and plant inspections.
• Assists regulatory representatives during inspections and reporting.
