Job summary

ADC Water seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Technical Lead in Mesa, AZ to own project outcomes and serve as the technical center of gravity. The role combines hands-on engineering judgment, multidisciplinary design leadership, QA/QC, client communication, permitting, construction support, and startup.

Requires 12+ years of experience, PE license in Arizona, and proven ownership of complete project lifecycles in water/wastewater. This is a senior, high-ownership position with broad influence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, or related water/wastewater field.
• 12+ years of professional engineering experience with water/wastewater projects.
• Active Arizona PE license and NCEES eligibility for other states.
• Experience sealing water/wastewater plan sets and leading complete project lifecycles.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills; ability to own outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead water and wastewater projects from definition through startup and closeout.
• Serve as day‑to‑day technical owner without separate PM/QA layer.
• Oversee process and treatment engineering for wastewater and water systems.
• Coordinate across civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and SCADA disciplines.
• Manage permitting, regulator coordination, and client communications.
• Mentor engineers and designers to raise QA/QC and standards.
