Job summary

The Village of Harrison (WI) seeks a Lead Systems Operator to operate and maintain water and sanitary sewer systems, perform inspections and troubleshoot to ensure regulatory compliance. This working-leader role supervises operators, maintains records, supports capital planning and coordinates with contractors, all while ensuring safety and reliability of critical utilities.

Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, 3 years in water distribution and sewer systems with at least 1 year

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of experience operating and maintaining water distribution and sewage collection systems; 1 year of supervisory experience.
• GIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains operation records with accuracy.
• Oversees routine process control testing and regulatory compliance testing on water and wastewater systems.
• Supervises operators and assists with daily operation and maintenance tasks.
