Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Resilience Water Team in Virginia. This role involves leading the structural design projects for water/wastewater infrastructure and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Qualifications

• 10 years of structural engineering experience in Water/Wastewater.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Structural or Civil/Structural.
• Experience with NCEES 16-Hour structural exam (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Mentor entry-level and junior structural engineering staff.
• Organize and conduct structural engineering investigations and calculations.
• Lead the development of calculations, plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Skills

Structural analysis and design skills

Proficiency in STAAD Pro

Technical writing and editing skills

Use of AutoCAD/REVIT software

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
