Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer for their Resilience Water Team. This role involves leading the structural engineering team, managing Water/Wastewater projects, and ensuring quality deliverables. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience, a PE license, and skills in structural analysis and design. Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of structural engineering experience, preferably in Water/Wastewater.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required in Structural or Civil/Structural.
• Strong understanding of relevant building codes (IBC, ACI).

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering team and manage design projects.
• Conduct site visits, client meetings, and oversee construction activities.
• Develop engineering calculations, plans, and technical reports.

Skills

Structural analysis and design skills

Proficiency in STAAD Pro and other structural software

Excellent technical writing and editing abilities

Proficiency with AutoCAD/REVIT

Knowledge of building codes and standards

Education

Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
