Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer for the Resilience Water Team in Washington D.C. The candidate will lead engineering projects in the Water/Wastewater sector and manage a team of engineers, ensuring effective communication and project execution.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and at least 15 years of relevant experience. Strong skills in project management and knowledge of building codes are essential. Excellent benefits and a salary range of $130,000 - $185,000/year are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of structural engineering experience in Water/Wastewater.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Structural or Civil/Structural.
• Strong experience in project drawings, specifications, and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the structural engineering team.
• Manage structural engineering projects in Water/Wastewater.
• Lead the development of plans, calculations, and specifications.
