Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join our Resilience Water Team. This role involves leading engineering projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards. You will manage both junior staff and project deliverables, requiring strong leadership and design skills.

The position offers a salary range of $130,000 - $185,000/year, alongside excellent benefits including paid time off and 401K options.

Qualifications

• 15 years of structural engineering experience in Water/Wastewater.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Structural or Civil/Structural.
• Experience reviewing and approving project drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead geographical structural engineering efforts and manage teams.
• Conduct structural condition assessments and produce design calculations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Skills

Structural analysis and design skills

Proficiency in STAAD Pro

Technical writing and editing

AutoCAD/REVIT proficiency

Familiarity with building codes (IBC, ACI)

Education

Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

Master's degree (preferred)
