Job summary

Slayden Constructors Inc. seeks experienced Project Managers to lead water and wastewater construction projects across Oregon, including Medford, Eugene, and Portland. You will guide teams, manage budgets, and coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors on multi-million-dollar programs.

Projects vary in size and delivery method, with emphasis on safety, timely delivery, and cost control. This role demands strong leadership and communication across diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience, training, and education.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of construction, design, finance, and management experience on heavy civil or industrial projects.
• 3–5 years of experience working on water or wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Strong understanding of project financial management, cost controls, forecasting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate preconstruction and construction activities.
• Monitor and control construction through supervision of on-site construction managers and superintendents to ensure schedule and budget compliance.
• Represent the Company in project meetings and assist in labor negotiations and other project activities.
• Manage contract finances including fees, rental equipment, income, expenses, and other costs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project engineers and field staff.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and engineers to support project execution.
