Job summary

Slayden Constructors Inc. is seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to lead complex water and wastewater construction projects in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area.

You will oversee safety, client relationships, finance, schedule, procurement, risk, and team development on multi-disciplinary projects. You will mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers, liaise with owners, design partners, and subcontractors, and drive project execution from preconstruction through start-up and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 10–15 years of progressive construction management experience.
• 5+ years delivering water/wastewater plant or complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and large projects across phases.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for planning, execution, financial performance, and on-time delivery of large water/wastewater projects.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and field staff; maintain client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout activities to meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets.
• Manage contract administration, change orders, and subcontractor performance to protect profitability.
